Out of an abundance of caution, G O Bailey Elementary was placed on a soft lockdown this afternoon due to a potential situation in the neighborhood around the school. System security personnel worked with local law enforcement to determine that there was no threat to the safety and security of the students or staff and the school has resumed normal operations.
The Middle School Blue Devil Robotics teams competed at the FAMU Vex Robotics event in Tallahassee this weekend and took 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place.
