Lack of sleep from excessive electronic device usage can trigger a vicious cycle, negatively affecting mood, cognitive function, emotional regulation, learning ability, and interpersonal relationships. Furthermore, sleep deprivation has been linked to heightened depressive symptoms, with sleep-deprived teens being more than twice as likely to report such symptoms. Disturbingly, insufficient sleep also significantly increases the risk of suicidal ideation and other suicide-related risk factors. #4theT
