During National FFA Week, the 8th grade agriculture classes collaborated with the Tifton Tree Board to prune all the Live Oaks that have been planted around Eighth Street Middle School. Mr. Jimmy Felton, a member of the tree board, taught the students about proper pruning techniques and the time of year to prune. The oak trees were planted three years ago and adopted by the FFA as part of a community-wide tree planting effort.

ESMS 7th grade ag students harvested kale from the garden so that they could plant potatoes that they prepped last week for the spring garden.

Congratulations to ESMS Honor Chorus Participants! (Left to Right) Hannah Vinson, Graison Gordon, and Lauren Merwin
