Student Council is made up of a diverse group of elected seniors, juniors, and sophomores who are brought together for the common good of the school. With many different backgrounds and points of view, these students are able to work together to enhance the learning environment and the school atmosphere. These students serve as the Principal’s advisory group, working together with administration and staff to handle issues and accomplish the tasks set before them. They attend leadership conferences during the year and learn effective strategies to use when solving problems. No job is too big or too small for this governing group. Student council makes an impact on the school with everything from getting clocks in the hallways to spearheading all the homecoming and prom festivities each year.
