🌟 Black History Month Spotlight: Leona Reddick Mott 🌟 Leona Reddick Mott dedicated her life to education, shaping generations of students in Tift County. A proud graduate of Tift County Elementary and High School, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from Spelman College before returning home to teach English and Drama at her alma mater. Her passion for education led her to Wilson High and Elementary School, Tift County High School, and Abraham Baldwin College. She also earned a Master’s Degree in English from West Georgia College and made a lasting impact through ABAC’s Upward Bound Program. Even after retiring, Mrs. Mott continued her service by joining the Tift County Board of Education, where she faithfully served for 18 years.
