Who:
Students in Grades 6 - 12 who will serve as representatives and a voice for their schools and the Tift County Schools student body.
What:
Students participating in the SSAC will have the opportunity to share ideas, offer input on various aspects of the student academic experience and learn more about our school system.
When
Students participating in the SSAC will meet quarterly with the superintendent.
How
Students interested in participating in the SSAC are asked to submit and application (link below) along with two letters of recommendation. Letters of recommendation may be written by a teacher, principal, assistant principal, extracurricular advisor/coach, counselor, etc. Letters can be sent via email to dspurlin@tiftschools.com. The deadline for applications is Monday, September 16th.
Names of students selected to serve on the SSAC will be announced on Monday, September 30th.
