The latest updates on Hurricane Ian show it continues to move northeastward and has slowed down which should lessen the impact that is felt here in Tifton; however, we are still possibly in the path for strong winds. Out of an abundance of caution, Annie Belle Clark Elementary was placed on a lockdown this morning due to a situation that occurred at the school. System security personnel worked with local law enforcement to determine that there was no threat to the safety and security of the students or staff and the school has resumed normal operations.

Members of the 2021-2022 Aspiring Leaders Cohort were awarded their program completion certificates during their final session recently.
